Denae – Senior Portrait
•May 12, 2009 • Leave a CommentDenae will be graduating this June, yes next month! We decided to have her session in Folsom by the water since she is hawaiian and wanted to tie that into her pictures. This girl can really work the camera and I had a blast getting to know her and photographing her!

Charity Event!
•May 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentROSEVILLE – Celebrating Incredible Moms! The Digital Photographers of South Placer County Meetup Group has teamed up with Evalimi Photography Solutions and three Sacramento area photographers to offer a free family portrait session for families with special needs children. Saturday May 9, 2009 professional photographers Carmen Salazar, Jaime Hoopes and Jackie Willard will be on location at Evalimi Photography Solutions donating their photography services for families with special needs children. Studio sessions are by appointment only, so please call (916) 781-0880 to check availability.
“Coree Kenan, a member of our Meetup group, thought of this event as a way to give back to the community and help people learn more about photography at the same time. Many of us know families with special needs children and have witnessed some of the sacrifices these mothers have made for their children; we all agreed that this would be a great way to recognize some wonderful mothers in our community, “ says Chad Bills, founder of Evalimi Photography Solutions.

Back from Vegas
•May 10, 2009 • Leave a CommentWe are back from Vegas and we had a blast! I didn’t take my main camera with me because we were celebrating Scott’s birthday and I could just hear him throughout our trip going “ugghhh, we’re stopping again to take more pictures?!” All in all he’s a good sport about it, but I decided to just go and relax. Here are a few pictures…

I will be available through email only but if you would like to call and leave a message I will get back to you as soon as I can! I will follow up with some pictures from our trip when we get back too!

Eric & Sarah – April 4, 2009
•May 1, 2009 • Leave a CommentEric and Sarah got married at Granite Bay Country Club on a beautiful day in April, and I mean beautiful, talk about summer coming early, phew it was hot! They had a beautiful ceremony and reception and were a lot of fun to photograph! At one point during their formal portraits I asked both of them to sit down against a wooden fence (picture below) and Eric looked at me and said “you want me to sit there…in the weeds?!” Sarah was a great sport and said “do what she says and just trust her!” Well it was totally worth it because we got some absolutely gorgeous shots! I love it when my couples put all of their trust in me and give me creative freedom!

Our 1st year anniversary!
•May 1, 2009 • Leave a CommentScott and I celebrated our first year wedding anniversary on Sunday April 26th. We headed up the hill bright and early on Sunday towards the snow! We spent the day at Squaw Valley (one of our favorite resorts), and snowboarded our butts off, it was a great way to end the snow season! When the sun poked through the clouds it was warm and the snow was so slushy which is a nice change from icey because ice just hurts when you fall on it! We did a few runs and then would hang out by the pool for a bit, then do a few more runs and then back to the pool. If it were just a bit warmer and the sun stayed out I would’ve definitely jumped in because I was prepared! After we decided we were tired we had a late lunch/early dinner at one of our favorite restaurants in Squaw Village, Blue Coyote, mmmmm really good food! It was such a great day!
